ARTIST DONATES TO CBF

Nationally known local artist Gail Hillow Watkins presents a check for $3,500 to representatives of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. Watkins donated her proceeds from the sale of paintings from her recent show at the DeMatteis Gallery in Annapolis, "Status X" (the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's designation for extinct species). Ms. Watkins made the gift because one of the goals of the Foundation is the protection of endangered species. Receiving the check for the Foundation are Pam Wilson and John Page Williams.
